Cedar Mountain

The WKCSSD has 15 dumpster sites within our District boundaries for RESIDENTIAL trash.  Those dumpster sites can be found on the map below.  Please do not dispose of slash-type material, furniture, appliances, tires, snowmobiles (yes, it has happened), or ANY COMMERCIAL waste in these dumpsters.  If you see any misuse of these residential dumpsters please call us or email us at billing@wkcssd.com.  If pictures can be taken safely they are very helpful.  Thank you for helping us keep costs as low as possible for residents on the mountain.

Burn Pit

The burn pit is scheduled to close on November 1, 2023; however that is a tentative date that may change due to weather and/or burn pit capacity.

The WKCSSD is now operating the burn pit located on Cedar Mountain.  At this time we do not have a gate or ticket system in place.  Appropriate use of the burn pit will be monitored throughout the season, and if a gate and ticketing system becomes necessary we will implement that at that time.  Please note the following restrictions to the burn pit.  Failure to follow these restrictions may lead to closure of the burn pit at any time.  Please contact our office to report misuse of the burn pit.  A license plate and/or photos are helpful!

  • There is ABSOLUTELY NO dumping of commercial or residential waste
  • STUMPS MUST be separated from main burn pit pile and placed in the area designated for stumps.
