The Western Kane County Special Service District No. 1 (WKCSSD) was established in 1981 for the purpose of providing garbage services and the maintenance of television transmission and relay facilities within the boundaries of the District.
WKCSSD Governing Board
The WKCSSD is governed by a 7-person board that meets the 2nd Thursday of each month. The board is comprised of 3 members who have been appointed by the Kane County Commissioners and a member appointed by each of the 4 municipalities the District serves: Kanab, Glendale, Orderville, and Alton.
